About us

NEXUS SOCIAL ADULT DAYCARE CENTER is an entity that was established May of 2017. The center is located on 83-47 258th Street Floral Park, NY 11004. We are one of Floral Park’s first senior daycare centers. Those that qualify are able to receive services such as transportation, delicious breakfast, lunch and snacks throughout the day. We also offer music, dance and yoga classes. Our members are respected and celebrated with monthly birthday celebrations and biweekly bingo games. We offer a wide variety of games such as table tennis, air hockey, basketball matches, and the traditional caromboard. Our goal is to keep our seniors not only physically active but to also touch their inner intelligence. This is where we play word searches, Sudoku, connect four and dominoes. 

We offer educational classes in which English and computers are taught. Our arts and crafts program offers coloring by numbers and painting. We also have discussion groups which mainly deal with any recent issues around the world, nationally or locally. Nexus SADC enjoys taking the seniors on monthly trips and seasonal field trips. We understand our seniors may not be able to comprehend the difficulties of insurances, and so we offer assistance with health insurance coverage, bills and guidance for other benefit programs. Last but not least the center provides manicures and monthly haircuts to it members. Nexus SADC and its staff has only one important goal in conducting this program, to have our members come enjoy their GOLDEN YEARS with us.
